About these tools

What this is

A suite of free tools for people who work with visual files — PDFs, images, textures, video frames, 360° tours and EXR render masks. Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there is no sign-up, and there is no watermark.

Why it exists

These tools were built out of an architectural visualization studio's own workflow. Preparing renders for clients means a steady stream of small, dull jobs: compress a PDF before emailing it, resize a folder of images, pull a normal map out of a texture, extract a Cryptomatte mask, turn a sequence of frames into a video. The usual answer is a website that makes you upload your client's unreleased work to somebody else's server, wait, then pay to download it without a watermark.

That trade is a bad one when the files are confidential. Modern browsers are fast enough to do this work locally, so we built the tools that way instead — and made them free.

How it is built

The suite is a browser application. File processing happens on your own device using your browser's own capabilities. There is no upload step because there is no server doing the work — which is also why it stays fast on large files and works offline once loaded.

Who builds it
